You will provide technical security advice and
guidance to our clients, supporting their risk management
accreditation proceudres.
Responsibilities / Duties
You will have had responsibility for providing
information security assurance into the following areas
- Government depts., agencies
- Finance and Banking
- Pharmaceuticals
- Energy
- Utilities
You will be responsible for:
- The role holder will contribute to the definition of customers
overall security architecture, designing new solutions of
appropriate size and complexity, and where appropriate, manage the
work of specialists contributing to the design and implementation
of the solution
- Be able to identify and manage risk in accordance with relevant
approved process and procedures
- Be able to deliver advice on business resilience in a business
context
- Devising mitigation strategies against risks
- Familiarisation with technical risks
- Have a strong understanding of compliance regulations,
surrounding specialist market sectors.
- Work alongside the sales team to establish additional
opportunities
Qualifications /
Experience
- Understand and be able to promote business resilience in its
wider context
- Understanding of relevant CESG policies, guidelines and
procedures (IS1, IS2, IS4, and associated GPG's
- ISO270001
- CRAMM
- Security Industry certifications & accreditations -
CLAS/CISSP/CISM/IISP/ITPC
- General Anti-Virus, Firewall and Network Security
experience
Essential Skills
Extensive operational and practical experience
of information security.
Desirable Skills
Will be a competent security architect on
larger or more complex solutions, demonstrating an understanding of
the customer's business and commercial issues.
Qualities
- Strong communicator who is able to engage with clients,
understanding the communication aspects of consulting and
solutions
- Experience in producing previous white papers
- Recognised thought leader/subject matter expert in your
area
