The UK Government's spending review for public sector spending
until 2011 outlined the investment priorities that would empower
government to transform and deliver citizen-centric services.
Investment in the IT programmes that should enable this
transformation has been tempered however by the economical
realities of a global recession and the requirement to fund an
increasingly complex National Security
Strategy.
